Hymen

The hymen ,
virginity is a thick membranous layer of
tissue which encircles the inside of the vaginal
entrance and allows the escape of menstrual blood.
While some hymens are so elastic that they do not
tear even during intercourse, we know that for most
women the hymen is usually torn at the lower part
during first intercourse, after tampon insertion, or
through some exercises.
Hymen repair technique; Flap operation of hymen is for permanent purpose. In this case, triangle-shaped flap tissue on posterior wall of vagina is hanged on anterior or side walls. The aim in hymenal flap operations is to provide bleeding ‘imitating the first night’ rather than repair of hymen.
How much does hymen repair cost? Hymenoplasty Pricing;Hymen repair prices vary in different countries. It can be done at our Istanbul Hymen Repair clinic. How long does hymen repair procedure take? It usually takes an hour to an hour and a half, we do hymen repair procedure as a day surgery. You can go home after this procedure is done.
What wıll be the hymen repair post operatıve course? You will be advised to rest i.e not do a lot of physical activity for approximately 3 days. You can continue with your normal light activity a couple of days after surgery. You can start taking your normal shower two days after surgery. You may be advised to douche the area with clean water or an antiseptic solution. It is not a very painful procedure. It is perfectly bearable with oral painkillers.
How long does ıt take to heal? It usually heals in approximately one week.Wıll I bleed after re-rupture of hymen? You would be advised to abstain from sex for at least approximately three week after surgery.It is most likely to bleed once re-rupture, however, just as in case of primary rupture.
